Ingredients

  • 100g/4oz Flour
  • 50g/2oz Butter or Margarine
  • 50g/2oz Sugar

The above portions give a relatively shallow crumble topping.  If you like a lot more crumble, then use

  • 200g/8oz Flour
  • 100g/4oz Butter or margarine
  • 100g/4oz Sugar

Fruit Crumble

Crumbly and light and great with custard

Instructions

Cut butter into small cubes

Rub butter into flour until it resembles breadcrumbs

Lightly stir in sugar

Put fruit of your choice in a dish

If fruit is very tart you can Sprinkle with sugar to taste

Sprinkle crumble over the top covering all the fruit

set oven to 180 fan

Cook for 50 minutes
